We are delighted to announce that Warinder Juss, MP for Wolverhampton West, has agreed to become an Onside Youth Zone Champion!

Youth Zone Champions will be ‘go-to’ individuals when engaging with Parliament and Government, helping raising awareness of our Youth Zone and OnSide’s wider Network of youth centres, and building support for youth work more widely.

Warinder recently visited our Youth Zone to discuss knife crime and to meet some of our young people, even challenging one to a game of chess in our rec area.

Our Youth Zone is committed to providing young people with the support, opportunities, and inspiration they need to succeed. Having champions in Parliament strengthens our mission and amplifies our impact and that of the wider OnSide Network of Youth Zones. It will also give young people the chance to connect with their MP, making politics more accessible and relevant to their generation. 

We are excited about the positive impact this will bring and look forward to working with Warinder to continue making a difference in the community.
